each high school provide students with the opportunity to earn college
credits along with the high school credits that they earn for these

Credits earned
in EDGE classes will transfer to all community and technical colleges(ctc's)
in the state of West Virginia

What requirements do I have to meet in EDGE
classes to earn college credits? |

Students must score a minimum of 75% on an end
of the year class exam. |

How will the colleges know that I have earned
EDGE credits in high school? |
| Answer: |
When a student recieves a minimum
of 75% on the exam, the credits are held in a computer database until
the student enrolls in a West Virginia Community & Technical College.
Students must make the CTC aware that these credits have been earned
upon enrollment. |

Will EDGE credits be transferable to a four-year
institution if I choose to pursue a baccalaureate degree upon completion
of an associate degree at a CTC? |

Not all credits are accepted when transferring
to a four-year institution. Students are encouraged to check with individual
colleges. |

Students may begin enrolling in EDGE classes in
the 9th grade and earn these credits through out high school. |
