What is the EDGE ?

EDGE
stands for Earn a Degree Graduate Early, and is an initiative of West Virginia Tech Prep geared toward helping a greater population of students succeed. The EDGE program affords students the opportunity to take specific high school courses - EDGE courses - from which they can earn both high school and community college credit at no cost to the student or parent!

How can the EDGE help me ?

With the right planning and motivation, a student can save thousands of dollars in college tuition and be on their way to high-skill, high-wage jobs within two years - or less- of graduating high school! The following are just a few examples of great careers that can be a reality in two years - or less- through the West Virginia EDGE program and community and technical colleges.(For data on more great careers in 2 years click here!
